From SEED to SUCCESS have an idea or project that you want to see grow and succeed.

That's awesome!

I believe that God has created you uniquely, with a purpose and plan in mind to make an impact in the world for the Glory of His Name!

Psalm 139:14 in the NIV says, "I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well."

The Bible also says in Philippians 2:13 in the NLT, "For God is working in you, giving you the desire and the power to do what pleases Him."

I want you to be encouraged! God has a plan for your life and He is giving you the desire and the power to fulfill that plan!

In this post I would like to share with you some very basic, yet powerful tips and resources that you can lay hold of to assist you in growing the God-given vision that you may have.

Whether you are an individual, a business, an organization, a church or a ministry...these tips and resources are available to you RIGHT NOW and the best news is that you can utilize them for little to no money or skill!

Doesn't that sound great!

Acting upon the dreams and desires that God has placed within you does not have to be intimidating.

You have a voice and there are ways to get your message heard without it feeling like rocket science and without it breaking the bank on you!

As we begin, I have some questions that I would like you to ask yourself.

Let's get started...

If you could narrow it down to under a handful of items... What would you say are some of the top things that you may be struggling with or that you feel like are holding you back from crossing over from where you are currently, to where you truly desire to be (in your personal life or within your business/organization/church or ministry)?

Be honest with yourself.

Moving along...

What "KIND" of impact are you looking to make in the lives of others?

As an example, for desire is to STRENGTHEN you to CONQUER!

Therefore, my aim is to impact you positively by reinforcing you with strength to conquer. That's my slogan in a nutshell. Sending you STRENGTH to CONQUER the day.

That's my WHY - the outcome of what I set out to accomplish.

Knowing your WHY is essential in every pursuit. CLARITY in your WHY is key to translating your message to others in a way that is understandable to them.

CLARITY in your WHY will help you build trust with others as you seek to fulfill a need through HOW it is that you are serving.

Whether you are preaching a sermon, writing a blog or selling a product, the same rule applies every time. You must have CLARITY in your WHY!

Now, clarity can feel like a tricky thing. It can take some amount of time before the clarity we really need becomes...well,...clear to us, for lack of better words.

In all honesty, it has taken me years to gain the clarity that I believe I have now (and I'm still figuring out lots of stuff, LOL). Many times I have gone through the cycle of believing I had clarity just to end up feeling frustrated when I realized that I didn't.

Don't get discouraged!

Clarity will come as you grow deeper in the revelation of 2 very important things:

1) Your IDENTITY - Ephesians 2:10, "For we are God's masterpiece. He has created us anew in Christ Jesus, so we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. (NLT)

2) Your PURPOSE - Romans 8:28, "And we know that God causes everything to work together for the good of those who Love God and are called according to His purpose for them." (NLT)

As we progress, here is another thought to consider:

What do others perceive of you?

Is there a difference between the perceptions "they" conceive and the perceptions "you" desire them to behold?

Is there consistency between the version of YOU others experience through social media and when face-to-face?

Here is a tip. Always be the REAL, AUTHENTIC...YOU!

With much wisdom, wear both your triumphs and your struggles on your sleeve. What I mean is...don't cast a false impression.

The REAL, AUTHENTIC version of you, the one with your many victories as well as your many screw-ups, can instill HOPE in others, because it shows them that they are not alone in what they may need help with.

How many times have we believed the lie that we are the ONLY ones who have gone through some of the things we have faced or experienced in life?

When others know they can TRUST you, because of your authenticity...they may in turn follow you.

Let me give you this next massive statement to chew on as we begin to talk about TOOLS to help you package your WHY into a HOW:

Get CLARITY, build a PLATFORM, earn EXPOSURE, gain TRUST, create IMPACT, assemble a FOLLOWING/TRIBE.

Below I am going to share with you a list of tools that you can and should be using to help create strategic impact for your idea/project/business/organization/church/ministry, etc.

This list is not exhaustive of course, it is merely a recommendation. As a disclaimer, I make no solid guarantees that by using these tools that you will become a success (although, with them you can create a higher degree of impact - if you are willing to put in the work for it).

Many of these tools you may already be using and that's great if you are. Believe it or not however, I believe too many people are not using these simple, basic tools to their advantage.

Let's change that!

Here we go!

Brace for IMPACT (pun intended, lol)!

1) Build a WEBSITE

A website is the HUB for everything YOU! With a website you can do such things as, write a blog, sell products, host a podcast, book appointments, solicit donations for a cause or non-profit, collect payments, acquire email address through an opt-in form, etc. The list goes on and on!

Building a website is not a daunting task thanks to companies like WIX. They use a drag and drop format for creating your website, which requires no knowledge of coding, plus they offer a ton of amazing website templates for you to choose from so that you don't have to create anything from scratch. This is great if you are a newcomer to building a website. WIX also offers something called WIX ADI, whereby an entire custom website can be built for you just by answering a few simple questions concerning what your website is going to be about. The best news...using the WIX ADI does not cost anything extra! WIX allows you to chose to either build your website from scratch, use a template to get started or use their ADI to build an entire website for you, completely for FREE!

I purchase both my domain name ( and my web hosting through WIX. I started with a template and then added my own custom touch to it.

WIX offers many different LOW COST pricing packages for website hosting, of which some come with one year of free domain registration.

There are of course many other fantastic options available out there for creating and hosting a website. My personal recommendation however, especially if you are a beginner at creating a website, is using WIX.

2) Create an EMAIL LIST

I can't say enough about the importance of acquiring email addresses and creating an email list! Your email list can consist of some of your most committed followers. Why and how? Because those who you have built trust with likely want to stay engaged with you through your email content. In the consumer world, companies want to send shoppers coupons through email, to attract repeat business. The same principle applies across the board. An email list is a great way for you to remain in communication and stay engaged with those who are following you closely.

Now, when it comes to creating an email list, you want to use a reliable service to produce all of your email content. I personally use MailChimp.

MailChimp offers a FOREVER FREE plan which includes up to 2,000 subscribers to your email list and allows you to send out 12,000 emails monthly. What a deal!!!

So, why not just add email addresses to your contacts list in Google or Yahoo, why the need for a service provider? Because a service provider like MailChimp offers you the ability to add an email opt-in form to your website or set up a landing page for you to collect email address passively. For example, a visitor comes to your website or landing page, sees the offer to join your email list, enters their email address and now have a new subscriber!

Plus, with a service provider like MailChimp, you can send your subscribers professional looking emails that include things like a periodic newsletter, or blog post updates, you can even advertise and sell products, etc. The list goes on!

Seriously, the possibilities are mind-blowing! The best part about Facebook is that there is so much you can do for FREE! The most beneficial to you may be creating a page (aside from your personal account), a public or private group and live streaming. I use Facebook daily for posting content. I host a live stream from my personal page every M-W-F @ 8am ET, called The Morning Reboot. My live stream is one of the big boys of HOW I package and deliver my WHY.

These are some of the other big dogs of social media. You may need to play around with each to discover which one(s) you like and which one(s) are a benefit to you and your following. You may also find that you may develop different types of followers via each platform depending upon the type of content you are sharing on each. Age demographics has a lot to do with this. For me, my 2 favorite platforms of social media are Facebook and Instagram and that's where I engage with the majority of my peeps. This may not be the same for you however. Building a presence on any social media platform comes with experimentation. So, get at it and discover what works best for you!

You have a ton of options with YouTube just like other social media platforms. They are another social media giant. YouTube in a nutshell is simple however. Create a YouTube page, make videos and upload them. Easy peasy!

Here are some types of videos that you may want to consider for yourself when it comes to YouTube:

- Start a VLOG

- Record and upload your Sunday Services

- Record and upload special events

- Make inspirational or motivational videos

- Create a commercial or advertisement

- Create videos with a picture overlay and music

- Make instructional or teaching videos and create a YouTube playlist

- Livestream

I love podcasting! It is a simple and fun way to get your message heard through audio.

All you need to create a podcast is a quality audio recording of whatever it is that you would like to share and a way to make it available online (a hosting provider) for others to enjoy.

What can you feature on a podcast? Anything you want!

Here are some examples that may be of interest you:

- Record and upload Sunday Sermons

- Start a talk show

- Host an instructional or teaching segment

There are many platforms that you can use to upload and host a podcast. One easy to use provider that I would recommend to you is SoundCloud.

Lastly, I would like to share with you some final tools that I use for editing photos, image creation and print media.

- CANVA: Visit

Canva has many options available for FREE to create images with text overlay and for designing print media. I use Canva for ALL of my image creation.

- Ripl App for Android: Download from the Google Play Store and use for adding text over a custom image.

- Snapseed App for Android: Download from the Google Play Store. This is a seriously powerful FREE app for editing photos. The background blur feature is likely my favorite capability within this app.

- Eraser App for Android: Download from the Google Play Store. This is a FREE app that allows you to create transparent backgrounds to images. I used this app to create both of the transparent photos of myself on the homepage and about me page of my website. This app is like gold to me in my arsenal of FREE to use tools.

I hope that you find this post and the tools that I have recommended beneficial. My aim is that you be STRENGTHENED to CONQUER in your pursuits!

Now, let's get out there and make it happen!
